This wonderful apartment is on the top floor of an old Palazzo and comprises bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining area, living room and small terrace. There are french doors onto the terrace, which overlooks the medieval roofs and streets of the old town, directly across to the Rose Window of the Duomo. Unusually for apartments in the old town, there is a lift. The apartment is just metres away from the main thoroughfare leading from the main square - through which the young and old of the town promenade every summer's evening. Yet the bedroom faces the surrounding hills and is surprisingly quiet. There is ample parking 300 metres away. Sansepolcro houses the Risen Christ by Piero della Francesca - and is the only museum that we know of which permits its main exhibit to be viewed at night from the street through glass doors. There are many high class restaurants, wine bars (Enoteca), shops and speciality food outlets in Sansepolcro. The Enoteca Guide, which serves local delicacies and and superb Italian wines, and Ristorante Fiorentino are just a short walk away. There are good bus and road links to Umbria, Arezzo, Florence and the hill towns of Tuscany.
